- Ilseth Tenvar send Davian to investigate what was wrong with the Boundary and to save Caeden (unknowingly) (supposed murderer; was going to be executed) ; Wirr left with him.
- Caladel (the school) is attacked and was the third one to be so. No survivors had been left in the previous 2 attacks. Asha survived this one but with her memory tampered and her Gift taken away. (no one knows why)
- Davian and Wirr find Taeris Sarr who has a Vessel (magical item) that connects it to Caeden.
- They end up in Desriel and realize something is going on with the Boundary.
- In the meantime Asha has ended up in Tol Athan as a Shadow. People are trying to find out what happened at the school and why she is alive.
- She is made Representative to the Athan by the Northwarden Elocien (brother of the king, father of Wirr, maker of the Tenets)
- Elocien is trying to get the Augurs back together and to eventually change the Tenets with the help of Wirr.
- Augurs are having visions of an invasion into Ilin Ilian by 'The Blind'.
- King is going cuckoo for coco puffs and no one knows why
- Taeris and gang meet the Princess in Desriel for help to get out of the country. The help is Dazia and Aelric
- While crossing Deilannis, Caeden starts remembering the city (also Damn good swordsman); Orkoth appears and makes them split i[. Nihim, the priest, dies and Davian ends up time traveling through the Rift.
- Davian starts learning about his powers & the old Deliannis city from Malshash.
- During his time traveling everyone thinks Davian is dead.
- Asha is visited by future Davian who is in chains and answering to a Rethgar.
- After they escape Deilannis, Taeris removes the Shackle from Caeden and he has a vision (he is an Augur too). His real name is Tal'kamar and he is in danger. He apperently did kill people but for a reason. Seems to have some kind of bond with a brother called Alaris
- Wirr and Taeris have a heart to heart. The truth about what happened to Davian comes out. His Augur powers took over as pure instinct to save him from the bullies. Taeris took the blame so Davian could live. A bond was formed between the two.
-Asha gets kidnapped by 2 Shadows. Gets rescued by Erran, Fessi and Kol. Kol kicks their asses. The Shadreahin sends back their heads and apologizes to make sure their bargain is still in place.
- Davian finds out he is somewhat dead (half dead?) and is the reason he can't directly use Essence but is so good at using kan.
- Caeden keeps remembering random memories. (Training at the Shalis)
- Taeris and Co. make their way to Gahille which is found completely destroyed by the Blind Invasion. They come across 2 people who were being mind controlled. Taeris almost dies, Caeden heals him.
- Asha finds out Shadows can still use Essence and in theory could be cured from it therefore not being bound by the Tenets.
- Davian learns to shapeshift and ends up as a man vaguely resembling Wirr but not. Malshash seemed concerned.
- On the road to Ilin Illan a sha'teth attacks the group. Caeden fights it and kills it. They find out he is an Augur. The sha'teth tells Caeden he killed 'him'. Dunno who.
- Asha gets her memories back with the help of Erran. Forms a plan to get Ilseth to confess enough to get him arrested. Plan is successful.
- Davian sees a memory he wasn't supposed to from Malshash, of his wife (which looked exactly like the one from Caeden's vision). Mal is the one who gives Davian the box that connects him to Caeden and tells him 'it was worth it and he is very sorry'. Davian returns to his own time.
- Caeden and Taeris are refused help from the Council (to figure out and fix the Boundary). Caeden met Ilseth in the dungeons and called him Lord. They seek help from Princess Kara instead.
- Wirr arrives at the Palace. Catches up with Kara and his family as well as Asha.
- Caeden and Taeris get help from the Princess but Caeden is Shackled by Kara. He manages to slip the Shackle and meet Havren Das. Kara had followed him and ends up being attacked by the Blind. Caeden saves her. Kara is more willing to help now.
- Davian meets Ishelle, a fellow Augur, from Tol Shen. She drugs him so he can speak with Elder Drescin. Offers Davian to join them to get the Augurs back to a semblance of power and to seal the Boundary again. Davian agrees to help with the Boundary but nothing else. He learns how to become invisible.
- Davian finds a story about the Blind in the book of folk stories. Tells the story of the Mighty Ghash (Augur) and the king of the Shining Lands, Alaeris Shar.
- Feast is made in honor of Wirr's return. Message gets relayed of the decimation of the Kings army by the Blind. (what Davian had Seen).
- Davian arrives at the Palace. Gets reacquainted with Asha and Wirr. Confronts Taeris, finds out Taeris had been lying. Starts believing what Drescin had told him about Taeris.
- Asha meets with the Shaderaehin (real one). Offers the vessels in exchange for help and delivers the message that future Davian had given her.
- Davian gets into ToL Athian to question Ilseth. Finds out it was someone with the same tattoo as Caeden that gave him the box to give to Davian. Ilseth dies cause of Davian's mind intrusion.
- Taeris and Caeden use the travel stone to get to the vessel. It opens a portal and Davian and Elder Eilinar are unable to stop Caeden from entering.
- Fight starts in the Shields. First one is overcome easily. Shadows & Vessels helped at Second one. Echoes start taking over Second shield.
- Paranthe and Co. Got tricked into leaving Second shield. Captain Hael (echo) attacks Wirr. Elocien takes the hit, Davian kills Hael.
- Asha finds out Erran had been controlling Elocien this whole time. He was the one that sent Wirr away.
- Scyner finds Asha and the 3 Augurs. Tells them they'll be using their services unless they want the King to know Elocien had been controlled this whole time.
- Kol and Fessi attack. Scyner kills Kol. He tells Asha that the only reason she is still alive is because she was marked by Aarkein Devaed. That he wants her alive. Also tells them that the King was being controlled as well.
- Erran and Asha arrive at the Palace to find out that the King collapsed and put Kara in charge. Apperently no longer controlled. (Because of the change in the Tenets)
- Wirr and Davian change the Tenets together. Davian had to kill Administrator Ionis since he was trying to command Wirr to change them so every gifted committed suicide.
- Wirr passes out afterwards. The Blind breach the Tol. Elder Eilinar dies. Taeris finds Dav and Wirr and they make their way out.
- Caeden takes the sword Licanius and is told by Garadis who he is. Tal'Kamar did both good and evil and has been alive for 3 thousand years. By taking the sword he agreed to a pact. He has 1 year and a day to free the Lyth. Caeden returns to Ilin Illan to help out with the sword.
- Caeden defeats all the Blind (easily?) and saves the few Andarrans still alive. Davian tries to get answers from him. Doesn't work. Caeden leaves through the vessel portal again.
- Asha overhears Laiman and Taeris talking. Laiman's real name is Thell. They are old friends. They somehow let the sha'teth free and they were the ones that showed the Blind into the city. They think Tol Shen were the ones controlling the King all to win the people and then the officials. They are worried now that Dav has gone with them. They are sure that both Caeden and Davian are the most important in the fight against Devaed.
- Caeden ends up in another cave system where he encounters Asar who is supposed to give him only the memories that he will need to accomplish what he needs. He starts with his most recent one where he killed all the villagers. He realizes that he is in fact Aarkein Devaed.
